• Question: why is CSI on the T.V

      That is an interesting question. i think first of all there are a lot of police/crime shows on TV and so these types of programme are popular, but with CSI they have taken a different approach which is to focus on the forensics part of police work, which is a very interesting subject. I like CSI and I think it is a good way to promote the uses of science to the public.

      (1) its producers could convince the TV stations that it stands a good chance to draw large audiences (and thus generate revenue from commercials) and
      (2) this is indeed what happened.
