I certainly believe in there is life on other planets and I guess that means I believe in aliens. But I am not so sure they have space ships and have visited us. I am not convinced by the claim for us being visited by UFOs, surely we would have artifacts such as bits of space ship, or other hard evidence of them being here.
I think there is definitely life on other planets, it’s just a case of probabilities. What I mean is that there is a very small chance of life being created on any planet in particular, but there are so many planets that it must have happened on at least one, probably more. As an example, there is a very small chance of winning the lottery, yet at least one person seems to win most weeks because so many people are playing.
Have aliens visited us? I don’t know, probably not. Space is a big place.
Not really – I do believe there is life on other planets, but I see little overlap of its characteristics with those of the aliens usually portrayed in the mass media.
There are plenty of theories suggesting that it is likely there are aliens, and some others suggesting that it is not likely!
The most interesting thing I read about aliens was an essay pointing out that people seem obsessed with the idea of aliens, as if we want their to be someone from outside that can come and tell us what to do, rather than working it out for ourselves.
