I guess I do yes, we are funded by government money from taxes paid by your parents and by charities that have limited amounts of money. Plus the disease we work on is not nice. But we do have fun, my lab is full of young scientists from all over the world (Turkey, Spain, India, Australia, Sebia) and that makes for a good time 🙂

Yes – if you have a job and don’t take it seriously, then you won’t have it for long. On the other hand, if you don’t take it with a good sense of humour as well, you may not want to have it for long.

I take it very seriously. I want my project to succeed and I want to develop a career for myself so I try my hardest at everything I do. What’s the point in doing anything if you don’t take it seriously?
