Question: how complex is your work

Some of what I do involves pages and pages of equations, and other folk look over my shoulder and say ‘My goodness! That looks very complex!’ But mostly it looks ok to me, because I understand it. Sometimes I read something someone else has done, and sometimes I understand and it is easy, but sometimes it really is complex. My job is to make what I do as simple as possible, so it’s easy for other people to read and understand and use.
