I think there are different types of forensic science, for example you can be someone who investigates bilogical samples or there are people who work in computer forensics finding out what suspects have been doing on their computers. You would need good A levels in science subjects and to go far in the career probably best to have a degree in a science subject as well.

I’m afraid I don’t know the answer to this one I’m afraid as it’s not my area of expertise. I’d recommend arranging a chat with a careers advisor at school. Your teacher should be able to arrange it. You’re likely to need chemistry, maths and maybe biology a-levels at least, I guess.

I guess the job is less spectacular than in several TV series, but as far as I can tell, it is interesting nonetheless. And, in contrast to many research (or medical) jobs, it is actually rather compatible with family life. The qualifications required usually come from a medical or legal end, and combinations (also with other fields) exist. Every university clinics and larger police department should be able to give you more details.
