• Question: If the world ended in 2012 or after how do you think it would end?

      Hopefully in a very exciting way, lots of explosions, earthquakes, tsunami etc. If we its got to end then let end with a BANG!

      How do you define “world” in this context? Surely, the Earth will some day be hit again by large cosmic objects, and it is likely that its remains will eventually be swallowed by the Sun, but our galaxy – and the rest of the universe – will continue to exist for long after that. Don’t think there is any evidence suggesting 2012 might be relevant in this context.

      If the world ended in 2012? For the Earth to be completely destroyed would probably necessitate some kind of disaster beyond the imagination of man.

      If we are wiped out by a natural event, it will probably be volcanic eruption of some kind. Or we could be consumed by the sheer vapidness of the sequel.
