Well, last time I checked (for tumours in January, for killing right now), my brain wasn’t engaged in either.
But tumours always owe their existence to some problems with the regulation of cell divisions – the whole body is composed of cells, and these have to divide in a very special way in order to give rise to a human body and to maintain it. Many things can go wrong with the regulation of these processes, and many questions related to that have already been discussed over at the Cancer zone.
