I hope it will. If one schoolkid or parent listens to one of my lectures and gets the message from the film that bad lifestyle can harm their liver and ruin their life and changes their behaviour as a consequence then its £500 well spent 🙂

Not immediately, but possibly yes: The first of the neglected topics that I plan to stimulate blogging about is Chordoma, a rare but malicious kind of cancer for which no cure is in sight. By specifically stimulating research blogging, I hope to help chordoma research advance faster by facilitating the disseminatino and popularization of its results. And given that the average life expectancy after diagnosis is somewhere around five years, any acceleration of research in this area can indeed save lives.

No. Probably not, it’s extremely hard to save lives with £500!
