Question: Will your work help people? If yes how many people and in what way?

  The whole point of my research is to help people. My research is aimed at finding ways to halt or even reverse liver disease which effects hundreds of thousands of people in the UK alone, on average 10,000 people die of liver disease every year. We are also now applying our research to similar diseases of the lung and kidney which also cause suffering in millions of people worldwide.
